Familiar Place
Davis Electric is proud to share the continued development of our new 60,000-square-foot pump, motor, and industrial facility in West Virginia, located in the former Valley Worlds of Fun building.
For many people in our community, this building holds special memories. For years, Valley Worlds of Fun was a place where families and friends came together, children celebrated birthdays, and people from throughout the area gathered for recreation and entertainment. We recognize the history of this property and the impact it had on generations of local families.
When Davis Electric purchased the property in 2023, the building had become unstable and largely unusable following a hillside collapse. We saw an opportunity not only to expand our company, but also to restore a familiar property and give it new life and purpose within the community.
Today, we are transforming the facility into a state-of-the-art, high-capacity shop for our pump, motor, electrical, automation, and industrial operations.
With approximately 60,000 square feet of space, the new facility will significantly increase our capabilities. The additional shop space will allow us to accommodate larger equipment, increase repair and production capacity, improve workflow, and handle more customer projects simultaneously. It also provides room for continued investment in equipment, technology, and capabilities as Davis Electric grows.
This project represents more than an expansion of our business. It represents an investment in the community we call home. A building that once served local families is being given a new life supporting good-paying skilled jobs, local industry, and economic activity in West Virginia.
