Electric Motor Rebuild, Re-design, Exchange
Davis Electric is a complete EASA service facility. We can rebuild AC & DC electric motors up to 2500 HP. Our repairs include PDMA analyzation, core-loss testing, VPI insulation, vibration analysis, dynamic balancing and full load testing to 1500 Hp @ 4160 vac. Redesign performed by in house electrical engineer in coordination with EASA. Prompt, quality service available 24/7.
Heavy Equipment Rebuild
Davis Electric has many years of experience in rebuilding Heavy Equipment for Mining, Industrial & Drilling Operations. Hard Plating & Weld-Hardening of Pans, Buckets, Transfer Points & Rock Pockets, Hydraulic Repair, Re-Hosing, Re-Wiring & Troubleshooting as well as upgrades on Tramming Equipment.
Pump Rebuild and Exchange
DE is a full service pump rebuild facility including submersible, centrifugal, vertical turbine, submersible turbine, diaphragm, and air operated. All pumps are performance tested for pressure and volume. We also have a large inventory of new and rebuilt submersible pumps available for immediate service exchange 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Gear Reducer Rebuilds
DE provides quality rebuilds of several different types of gear reducers through 1000 HP rating. We can perform simple seal replacements to complete rebuilds utilizing factory gearing and parts. As always, DE only uses top quality bearings and seals from trusted companies and sources. We offer light run testing with vibration analysis on complete motor/gear reducer combinations.
Custom Manufacturing
Let us provide you with a manufactured system for your application. We use only quality products such as Roto-Jet Pumps, Ingersoll Dresser Pumps, ABS Pumps, Baldor/Reliance Motors, Hyundai Motors, Invensys controls, Allen Bradley controls, Cutler-Hammer and Benshaw controls as well as other customer specified equipment.
Control Panels and Systems
Davis Electric can provide you with control panels for applications ranging from simple NEMA starter boxes to complex automated control systems. One of our Systems Engineers can provide you with solutions for Mobile Equipment & People Movers or on Pump Level or Pressure Controls or Plant Ground Fault Solutions for Hazardous Locations.
Field Service
We provide 24 hour in shop and field service with qualified and experienced technicians to troubleshoot and repair your problems. We also offer on-site vibration analysis, laser alignment, PDMA Electric Motor Analysis and Thermagrophy Imaging.
Machining
Our Top of the Line Okuma CNC Equipment gives us the capabilities to create parts off your CAD drawings or from our designs. From Hydraulic Manifolds to Shear Pins, we can produce highly accurate precision parts in various metals from aluminum to titanium.
Resistors
Mining Resistors International is our Product Line that has been sold into applications as far away as the Phillipines and South Africa for Power Resistor Solutions. Our Neutral Grounding Resistors and Dynamic Braking Resistors are used throughout the world in various industries in Mining, Railroad & Oil Refineries.
Fabrication & Powder Coating
Our Fabricatication Process in our Logan Shop includes TIG Welding and Powder Coating. Our Heavy Fabrication in our Monongah Facilty includes Heavy Equipment Rebuilds, Hard Lining & Weld Hardening.
